The Venue
Skipping the champagne? For weekend parking, QV Melbourne Car Park is the best value in the city. Need something closer? Pre-book at Wilson Parking at 180 Russell Street or similar; drive-up rates can be high. There are plenty of carparks nearby - just make sure they’re open past midnight if you're staying until the end.

DANCE PREP
Get ready for a big-hearted, high-energy, whirlwind.
The Jewish Hora is a centuries old high-spirited dance where guests link arms, spin in circles, and hoist (the sometimes terrified) newlyweds and family members up on chairs. No experience or prior knowledge needed, we highly recommend throwing yourself into it with abandon!
Haven’t been to a Jewish wedding? Or you went to one and didn’t quite feel it was your place to get involved? We cannot stress this enough - it is so much better when you are all-in! Just like a great cocktail, our Horas will be the perfect mix, with all genders dancing together as one. We’re having a pre-wedding Hora lesson run by Ben’s sister Misty and our friend Ellie (big thanks to both). Already know the Hora? Come along for a pre-wedding aperitivo and help show everyone the ropes.

Thursday November 6,
6-7pm
When?
Carlton Gardens, opposite
44 Carlton St, Cartlon
Address?
We’ll be near the Melbourne Museum on the edge of the city. It’s a 15 minute walk from Spring St. Station, or just a few stops away on the 96 Bourke St Tram. There's plenty of street parking if you're driving.
We’ll be heading to the Pub- The Standard, Fitzroy for those that are hungry after.

What toWear?
Wear your “Favourite Thing”. Glitter-bomb gown that’s always “a bit too extra” - to the faded band T that’s rarely folded away. Have fun with it, feel great, and be dance-ready. The whole wedding will be indoors so once you’re in, you’ll be warm.
Dance Prep on Thursday?
Casual, comfy and park (ie Melbourne weather) appropriate.
Kids
With love, this is a big ol’ party so we’re keeping the wedding adults‑only.
On Thursday, kids are more than welcome to join in for Horas in the park, and there’s a great playground about 50m from where we’ll be.

What’s next? A sauna in the courtyard (Ben’s measure of success), and a table big enough to gather you all around (Lauren’s happy place). If you’d like to give us a nudge toward those dreams, you’ll find a wishing well at the party.
